This 13th-century mill now houses a restaurant, a brewery and a hotel, where excellent cuisine and friendly service are the top priorities. In the summer, guests at the Papiermühle brewpub can relax in the large beer garden to enjoy a pils or a bock beer, a bierbrand (‘beer brandy’) or the Papiermühle’s own whisky, all produced on the premises. At the heart of the beer garden is an ancient large-leaved linden tree, which is a protected natural monument.
Our tip: If you’re interested in beer at all, make sure you sign up for the brewery tour.
